Medical Staff

The medical staff makes daily rounds of the maternity patients in the hotel.

Pediatrician

A pediatrician will check the newborn babies in the baby ward.

Mothers who arrive at the hotel 24 hours after giving birth at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital will have their babies checked every day by the pediatrician. Mothers who arrive at the hotel after being released from any hospital, may request to have their babies checked, in coordination with the head nurse.

OBGYN

The doctor will check the patient in the doctor’s Office.
Patients wishing to be checked, will make an appointment with the nurse on duty.
We request that patients stay on hotel grounds until after the medical examination.
Maternity patients that have given birth at hospitals other than Hadassah Ein Kerem BABY are required to file release papers from the hospital.

The Nursery

at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hotel BABY is managed by a registered nurse chosen from the staff of Hadassah Hospital.

The nursery at the Ein Kerem Hotel BABY has 24 – 7 care, by staff that were hand-picked from the staff at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital and received certification by the head nurse of the Nursery There is always a registered nurse in the Nursery room and it is always possible to speak with her.

The staff will be more than pleased to be at your service.
During your stay at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hotel BABY, you can choose between having your baby stay in your room or putting him in the capable care of the staff. Your room is equipped with buzzers to enable you to call professional staff at any time.

Transferring from the hospital to Ein Kerem Hotel BABY

24 hours after giving birth to a baby who has also been medically released the mother can be transferred to the Ein Kerem Hotel BABY floor to enjoy all the services provided there. The baby will be released within 48 hours after a medical checked, On leaving the hotel, all medical records that were filed by the mother on arrival will be released to her.

The reception desk is always manned by professional staff who will be happy to answer any inquiries.

It is possible to checkout on Fridays and holiday evenings if the staff is notified up to 10:00 A.M on the day of departure.

The stay for maternity patients and babies is on a full-board basis
New mothers wishing to have their partners stay in their rooms will notify the reception staff. Additional fee.
The hotel management is not responsible for valuables left in the room.

No electrical appliances apart from those found in the room or brought in by hotel staff may be used in the rooms. No candles may be lit in the rooms. On Friday and holiday eves there is a special corner in the lobby for candle-lighting.

There is a spacious and comfortable bar in the lobby of the hotel that offers a variety of beverages and delicious treats for guests and their visitors.

The hotel restaurant serves full breakfast, lunches and dinners. The menu is varied and there is something to suit every taste..

Serving times are made available on check-in.

Naturally, there is complete room-service for anyone wishing to eat in their rooms. Anyone other than the new mother, will be charged for this extra service.

The catering staff will be happy to give advice on planning catered affairs.

Activities

While staying at Hadassah BABY hotel, you can enjoy various activities connected to parenting. Some of these activities are included as part of your hotel package. Others are available at an additional fee. Information available at check-in.

Advice and guidance is available as to which post-natal activities are best suited. There is guidance for breast-feeding, infant nutrition, infant massage workshops, reflexology, shiatsu, couples issues, sleep for infants, first days at home and more.

General information

Price for partner in new mother’s room – per night, BB

Children up to five years of age with their mother –no additional fee.

Rooms must be reserved ahead of time. There is a 100NIS non-refundable deposit unless there is a medical reason. It is desirable to reserve rooms three months ahead of expected due date.

Arrival at the hotel is the responsibility of the mother.

In cases where the baby requires special medical care even after 48 hours, the mother can stay at the hotel while the baby stays with the medical staff at Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital.

Rooms are available from 14:00. Of course, when rooms are available before that it is possible to enter even earlier.
